Seiko is the Dragon Prince of Ijlal, forced to flee to the neighboring country of Sedria when his father attempts to kill him. There, he is adopted by the Raven of Sedrian Intelligence and, despite the stigma surrounding his lineage, befriends the prince and princess.

Over the years, Seiko gradually moves up the ranks while trying to protect his friends and new country from his father. ​Eventually, Seiko is given command of the Akyrier Zranar, a young, elite force dedicated to dealing with the dragon threat. Their first attempt is nearly disastrous, leaving Seiko grappling with the consequences of leadership and the burden of command.

Years pass, and the castle itself is attacked by a blood dragon. With death all around him, and facing one of his worst fears, Seiko must find a way to destroy the blood dragon...or lose everything he holds dear.
